AIM and SCOPE

Scientific publishing is of great importance for Bolu İzzet Baysal University to take its place among the respected world universities. In particular, increasing the impact factor is possible with the publication of scientific articles and scientific journals. For this reason, the Coordinatorship of Scientific Publications and Journals of our university has important duties.

The main purposes of this coordinatorship are;

- To ensure the communication and cooperation between the scientific journals within the university, coordination with other scientific journals within and outside the university, and information exchange,

- To organize regular meetings with the Coordination Board,

- To provide technical support to the studies of scientific journals, to carry out studies to meet the needs that will arise,

- To develop projects and methods that encourage the work of scientific journals,

- To promote scientific journals and to make an effort to help their promotion,

- To increase the prestige of the university in the international area,

- To ensure the active operation of journals so that academicians can share their scientific research, practice and knowledge worldwide,

- To carry out studies to ensure that university journals are scanned in TR Index, SCI, SSCI, AHCI and related field indexes,

- To make various national and international publications to increase the quality of academic publishing at the university,

- To organize conferences, panels, courses, seminars, congresses and scientific meetings,

- To ensure the participation of Coordination Board members, Publication Commission members and Journal Editors in academic activities at home and abroad,

-To collaborate with national and international coordinators/centers for similar purposes,

- To organize trainings within the field of activity.

Vision:

To increase the recognition of Bolu İzzet Baysal University through the scientific journals of our university and to ensure that it takes its respected place in the world literature by increasing the publication standards of existing journals and increasing their impact factors.
